1. Welcome

Welcome to English Prep UZ (“English Prep UZ”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the English Prep UZ website, applications, services, learning materials, artificial intelligence features, subscriptions, and any related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using any part of the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. About English Prep UZ

English Prep UZ is an independent online English learning platform designed to help users improve their English language skills and prepare for English proficiency examinations such as IELTS.

English Prep UZ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected with IELTS, the British Council, IDP, Cambridge Assessment English, or any other examination organization.

All references to examinations are provided solely for educational purposes.

3. Definitions

Throughout these Terms:

  • Platform — means the English Prep UZ website and all related services.
  • User — means any individual who accesses or uses the Platform.
  • Account — means a registered user profile.
  • Subscription — means any paid membership purchased through the Platform.
  • AI Feedback — means automated feedback generated using artificial intelligence technologies.
  • Content — includes lessons, graphics, text, questions, videos, audio, software, designs, and other materials available through the Platform.

4. Eligibility

To use English Prep UZ:

  • You must be at least 13 years old.
  • Users under 18 years of age must obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian before using the Platform.
  • By creating an account, you confirm that you satisfy these requirements.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts if we reasonably believe these requirements have not been met.

5. Acceptance of These Terms

By:

  • creating an account;
  • accessing the Platform;
  • purchasing a subscription;
  • submitting writing or speaking responses;
  • or using any feature of English Prep UZ,

you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Platform.

6. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account.

You agree to:

  • provide accurate information;
  • keep your information updated;
  • maintain the security of your password;
  • keep your login credentials confidential;
  • immediately notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.

English Prep UZ is not responsible for losses caused by unauthorized access resulting from your failure to protect your login credentials.

7. Account Security

You agree that you will not:

  • share your account with another person;
  • sell or transfer your account;
  • create multiple accounts to avoid subscription limits;
  • impersonate another person;
  • use false identity information.

We may require identity verification where reasonably necessary to protect the Platform or comply with applicable law.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform lawfully and respectfully.

You must not:

  • attempt to hack the Platform;
  • interfere with servers or databases;
  • introduce viruses or malicious software;
  • copy lessons without permission;
  • redistribute premium materials;
  • bypass subscription restrictions;
  • reverse engineer the Platform;
  • use automated bots to scrape content;
  • exploit bugs for personal benefit;
  • interfere with other users.

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or permanent termination.

9. Educational Purpose

English Prep UZ is intended solely for educational purposes.

The Platform is designed to assist users in improving English skills.

Nothing on the Platform guarantees:

  • admission to any university;
  • examination success;
  • a particular IELTS score;
  • employment;
  • immigration approval.

Individual learning results depend on many factors beyond our control.

10. Artificial Intelligence Services

English Prep UZ provides AI-powered feedback for Writing and Speaking activities.

AI feedback:

  • is generated automatically;
  • may occasionally contain inaccuracies;
  • should be considered educational guidance only;
  • is not professional language assessment;
  • is not official IELTS scoring.

Users remain responsible for their own learning decisions.

English Prep UZ makes no guarantee that AI-generated scores or suggestions match official examination results.

11. Speaking Recordings

When you submit Speaking exercises:

  • your voice recording may be processed using AI technologies;
  • recordings may be temporarily stored to generate feedback;
  • recordings may be deleted after processing according to our Privacy Policy.

You confirm that you have the right to submit any recordings uploaded to the Platform.

Do not upload recordings belonging to another person without permission.

12. Writing Submissions

Writing responses submitted to English Prep UZ may be processed using artificial intelligence.

The AI evaluates writing for educational purposes, including:

  • grammar;
  • vocabulary;
  • coherence;
  • organization;
  • estimated proficiency.

The feedback is intended to help improve writing skills and should not be treated as official certification.

13. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all Platform content belongs to English Prep UZ or its licensors.

This includes:

  • website design;
  • logos;
  • graphics;
  • lessons;
  • exercises;
  • practice questions;
  • software;
  • audio;
  • videos;
  • source code;
  • databases;
  • AI prompts;
  • educational materials.

These materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

14. License to Use

English Prep UZ grants users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the Platform for personal educational use only.

You may not:

  • reproduce;
  • publish;
  • sell;
  • rent;
  • sublicense;
  • distribute;
  • modify;
  • commercially exploit

any part of the Platform without our prior written permission.

This license automatically ends if your account is terminated or these Terms are violated.

15. Subscription Plans

English Prep UZ offers both free and paid subscription plans.

Subscription features, pricing, lesson limits, AI submission limits, and other benefits are described on the Pricing page.

Automatic Renewals: If you subscribe to a recurring plan, your subscription may renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it before the renewal date. You are responsible for managing or canceling your subscription through your account or payment provider. English Prep UZ is not responsible for charges resulting from a subscription that was not canceled before renewal.

We may introduce, modify, or discontinue subscription plans from time to time. Any changes will not affect an active subscription until its renewal date unless required by law.

16. Payments

Payments for subscriptions are processed through authorized third-party payment providers, including but not limited to Payme and Click.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize the selected payment provider to process your payment according to its own terms and conditions.

You are responsible for ensuring that your payment information is accurate and up to date.

17. Refund Policy

Unless required by applicable law, all subscription purchases are final.

English Prep UZ does not provide refunds for:

  • partially used subscriptions;
  • unused AI submissions;
  • completed Writing or Speaking evaluations;
  • accidental purchases after access has been granted;
  • dissatisfaction with learning progress or examination results.

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, charged multiple times, or experienced a payment processing error, please contact us. We will investigate and, where appropriate, issue a refund or correction.

Nothing in this section limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

18. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Platform, including:

  • writing responses;
  • speaking recordings;
  • profile information;
  • comments or feedback submitted to us.

By submitting content, you grant English Prep UZ a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, improving, and providing the Platform.

We will not sell your submitted educational content to third parties.

19. Privacy

Our collection, storage, and processing of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using the Platform, you acknowledge that your personal information may be processed as described in that policy.

20. Third-Party Services

The Platform may rely on trusted third-party services, including services used for:

  • authentication;
  • database hosting;
  • artificial intelligence;
  • payment processing;
  • website hosting;
  • analytics;
  • email delivery.

These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

English Prep UZ is not responsible for the independent practices of third-party providers.

21. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable and continuous access to the Platform.

However, availability may occasionally be affected by:

  • scheduled maintenance;
  • software updates;
  • internet outages;
  • technical failures;
  • security incidents;
  • force majeure events.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times.

22. Updates and Improvements

English Prep UZ may update:

  • lessons;
  • AI models;
  • pricing;
  • features;
  • user interface;
  • subscription plans;
  • functionality

without prior notice when necessary to improve the Platform or maintain security.

23. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate an account if we reasonably believe that a user:

  • violates these Terms;
  • engages in fraudulent activity;
  • abuses AI services;
  • attempts to bypass subscription limits;
  • shares accounts with others;
  • uploads illegal or harmful material;
  • interferes with the operation or security of the Platform.

Users may stop using the Platform at any time.

Termination does not automatically entitle the user to a refund.

24. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, English Prep UZ makes no warranties regarding:

  • uninterrupted availability;
  • accuracy of AI-generated feedback;
  • compatibility with every device;
  • error-free operation;
  • achievement of any examination score;
  • suitability for a particular purpose.

Users use the Platform at their own discretion.

25. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, English Prep UZ, its owners, employees, contractors, partners, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • loss of profits;
  • loss of data;
  • examination results;
  • business interruption;
  • loss of educational opportunities;
  • technical failures beyond our reasonable control.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

26. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless English Prep UZ, its owners, employees, affiliates, contractors, and partners from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • your violation of these Terms;
  • misuse of the Platform;
  • infringement of another person’s rights;
  • unlawful conduct while using the Platform.

27. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Any mandatory consumer rights provided by Uzbek law remain unaffected.

28. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith communication.

If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be handled by the competent courts of the Republic of Uzbekistan, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

29. Changes to These Terms

English Prep UZ may update these Terms periodically.

When material changes are made, we may notify users through the Platform or by email where appropriate.

The updated version will become effective on the date shown at the top of this document.

Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

30. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

31. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and English Prep UZ regarding the use of the Platform and supersede any previous agreements relating to the same subject matter.
